About the 4th of July FreedomFest Fireworks Festival

When: July 4th 5:00 - 9:30 p.m. (fireworks start at 9:00)

Where: Pleasant Hill Park (Linden Ave. at the Delaware River)

Cost: Free (no tickets or registration needed)

Details: The 2026 4th of July FreedomFest, the second largest celebration in Philadelphia, will light up Pleasant Hill Park with an unforgettable celebration along the Delaware River, celebrating America’s 250th birthday. Enjoy a fun, free community gathering with a lively mix of food trucks, vendors, beer gardens, music, and family-friendly entertainment.

This year’s fest will feature a 40-foot Ferris Wheel and an energetic performance by our headliner, Philly Heart & Soul. The event will kick off at 5 PM with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem and built up to a spectacular fireworks display at 9 PM.

The event was made possible through a collaboration with State Street Events, with additional attractions provided by TMD Entertainment.
